Pep Lemon outing photos (30 May 2015)

On Saturday, we went to an Agroilla finca in Ariany to learn about how Pep Lemon lemonade (a 100% Mallorcan product) is created, made and sold. We helped to collect lemons, were shown hydroponic tomato crops and enjoyed a snack comprising local products and Pep Lemon drinks. Huge thanks to Carme, Gabrielle and Maria for showing us around!

‘What is PV energy and how do the panels work?’ workshop photos (28 May and 3 June 2015)

On 28 May and 3 June, we held two workshops to learn about photovoltaic (PV) energy and how PV panels work. We also found out how to set up an installation right from the start, with the basic elements of a PV system. Afterwards, we calculated how many panels were needed to provide enough energy in each participant's own home. Many thanks to Master-D for giving us the space, and to the trainer, Alfonso Javier Morales, who's also an Amics de la Terra member.
